Skyzer

Invite + manage teammates

Workspaces are multi-user. Bring in your VA, your CMO, or your agency contact.

Roles

Skyzer has three workspace roles plus a platform role:

  • Owner - full control. Manages billing, plan changes, the team, and can delete the workspace. There must always be at least one owner.
  • Admin - can connect/disconnect stores, invite + remove teammates, view all briefs. Cannot change the plan or billing.
  • Member - read-only daily brief access. Useful for a CEO who only wants the morning summary.
  • Super admin - Skyzer staff role for support. Lives in the admin panel, not in your team. Not assignable from inside a workspace.

Inviting a teammate

  1. Open Settings → Team.
  2. Enter the teammate's email and pick a role.
  3. Click Send invite. They receive a branded email with a 14-day accept link.
  4. They click Accept invitation, sign in or sign up with that email, and land in your workspace.
Skyzer signups normally need an invite code. The team invite email bypasses that - the teammate creates an account directly attached to your workspace, no code needed.

Managing pending invitations

Pending invites show up under Settings → Team → Pending invitations. From there you can:

  • Re-send the email if it got buried.
  • Revoke the invite if it shouldn't have gone out.
  • Copy the raw accept URL if the teammate prefers a direct link.

Changing roles + removing members

Owners can do both from the Members list:

  • Pick a new role from the dropdown and click Save.
  • Click Remove to delete the membership. The user account isn't deleted - they just lose access to this workspace.

You can't remove the last owner of a workspace. Promote someone else first.

Seats + the seat limit

Each plan has a maxSeats cap. Active members + pending invitations both count. When you're at the cap, the invite form disables.

Downgrade flow

If a downgrade drops the seat cap below your current team size, Skyzer doesn't silently boot anyone. Instead:

  1. Pending invites in excess are revoked (newest first).
  2. The newest non-owner members get a 7-day grace warning via email + an amber banner on the team page.
  3. On day 7, their access is suspended (data + membership are preserved - just access is paused).
  4. If you upgrade or remove a teammate within the grace window, the suspension is lifted automatically.

Switching workspaces

If you're a member of more than one workspace, a workspace selector appears in the sidebar. Switching is instant - your active workspace is remembered via a cookie.

What stays the same across the team

  • The plan, billing, and seat limit.
  • The list of connected stores + connectors.
  • Daily briefs - everyone sees the same brief content.

Next: Plans + billing.
